Sagefighters of Note

Sagefighting wouldn’t have happened without these brave souls in the Embassy Suites lobby Sunday, August 8th, after GenCon 2010. The original sagefighters (with links to their own awesome projects) are:

Sagefighters do no shake hands, since touching palms in combat strikes both players out. Instead, sagefighters use the the sagefighter handshake.

Touch the back of your hand against the back of your friend’s hand while you both say “Respect.”
Then grab each other’s hands and hug while you both say “Trust.”

RESPECT. TRUST. SAGEFIGHT.

  3. Since I was right there in the Embassy Suites lobby playing the first few rounds of Sagefight, I demand to be included in the list up there or respect will be lost! ;)

There are even two sagefighting photos in my slideshow at the very end.
